Castello Di Bestagno
Parts of our olive groves are situated in the environs of the ancient Castello di Bestagno. The castle was constructed from about the year 950, built as part of the coastal defences against Saracen pirates that ransacked the French and Italian coasts.
We have commissioned an historical study of the castle which will be translated into English and posted on this site in the next few months.
